The Producemobile is a 20-foot tractor trailer filed with fresh fruit, vegetables and other foods and the Kitchen distributes this food on a first come, first served basis to anyone in need. The Kitchen’s "Producemobile" program operates in partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository every third Monday of each month from approximately 9:30AM to 12:30PM. Because the foods we give out often exceeds 20-30 lbs per person, we encourage patrons to bring their own boxes or carts as we do not have extra containers. Call us the week prior to the third Monday of the month to make sure the Producemobile will take place as scheduled.
